Alright folks, let's take a quick look at what's happening in our Treta MFL Istok this season. It's a tough fight, but at the very top, the situation is pretty clear. Pobeda from Vevčani is the convincing leader with an impressive 47 points, having suffered only one loss so far. Ovche Pole follows them closely with 43 points, and they're also playing great, but Pobeda holds a good lead. Udarnik is in third place with 37 points, while Horizont is fourth with 34. These four teams have somewhat separated themselves at the top, although the difference between the top two and the rest is already significant.
In the middle of the table, Karbinci and Bregalnica 1926 are somewhere around 21 and 19 points respectively, without any big ambitions for the top, but also without too much fear of the bottom. Now, at the bottom, there's real drama. Tiverija is struggling with 14 points, and Rudar with only 2 points is just above the last-placed team. Absolutely the worst off is Svetlost, who even have -5 points, which is truly catastrophic and shows they are in huge trouble.
As for our Maleš, the situation, to be honest, isn't exactly rosy. We are currently in eighth place with only 10 points. We have three wins and four draws, but also eleven losses, which is far too many. Our last match against the leader Pobeda ended in a 2:3 defeat, although we showed some teeth and managed to score two goals against such a strong opponent, which is not to be underestimated. Still, the points are what they are. We need to buckle up in the upcoming rounds if we want to avoid falling deeper into the relegation zone. Our chances are tough, but as long as there's math, there's hope, we just need a lot more fight and luck.
